Ameh Elijah(Scott)
I'm a Frontend Developer who ships production interfaces — telemedicine platforms, healthcare logistics, medical marketplaces, and AI-powered applications, all used by real people. I'm also the founder of Umatech, a technology studio building purposeful digital products.
Technologies I use to design, build, and optimise modern web applications.

From pathways in science to lines of code.
I'm Ameh Elijah, a Frontend Developer based in Nigeria, building production web applications trusted by real businesses and used by real people.
I made the switch from biochemistry to software development driven purely by curiosity and a love for building things. I took the self-taught route, and that discipline has carried through into how I work — focused, consistent, and always shipping.
Today I build with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. I've shipped interfaces for telemedicine platforms, fintech products, healthcare logistics systems, and AI-powered applications — all in production, all used by real people.
I'm open to remote roles and collaborations with international teams.
Founder, Umatech
Alongside client and product work, I run Umatech — a technology studio designing and building web apps, mobile applications, and SaaS products for organisations that want to grow through technology. Same craft, bigger canvas.
A collection of work that
highlights my journey.

AccessCare
A telemedicine platform connecting patients with medical specialists for remote consultations, prescriptions, and home-based health services. I led the interface engineering — multi-step consultation booking, specialist discovery & filtering, and prescription/health-record surfaces designed to reduce cognitive load in a high-stakes context.

AccessMeds
A vendor management platform for pharmaceutical distribution, giving pharmacies and PPMVs a unified system to procure medications, manage inventory, track credit/repayments, and process wallet-based payments. I led interface engineering — the order/procurement flow, POS & inventory dashboards, and vendor wallet/credit surfaces built to keep complex fintech and logistics workflows approachable.

Xium Labs
A brand web presence built to make an impression without clutter — clean information hierarchy, deliberate use of space and typography, and a performance-first build that translates a brand identity into a sharp, purposeful digital experience.

FothiosMed
A medical products marketplace enabling healthcare professionals and suppliers to buy and sell equipment and supplies in one centralised venue — buyer and seller dashboards for managing products and orders, balancing e-commerce familiarity with the trust signals the medical supply sector demands.

SFH Access Logistics
A logistics and fleet management platform for SFH Access's delivery operations, coordinating riders/drivers, delivery status tracking, and dispatch across the health-product supply chain. I led interface engineering for the operations dashboard, order-to-delivery tracking views, and driver/dispatch coordination screens.

LekkiPort OMS
An order/data management system (DBMS) supporting operations tied to the Lekki Deep Sea Port ecosystem. I led interface engineering for the core operational dashboards and data workflows.

StudyVault
An offline-first mobile app for students and researchers to save articles, add highlights, write personal notes, organise with tags, and export content in Markdown or plain text. Built with React Native and SQLite for local-first storage, Redux Toolkit for state, and React Navigation for routing — with fast offline search across articles, highlights, and notes.
What people I've worked with say.
“Elijah is a dedicated developer who pays attention to detail. His ability to transform designs into seamless user experiences is impressive.”
